As your typical book-worm, I spent my early life collecting books of all kinds. Big ones, small ones, ones with bright pictures, ones with great story lines-- I loved them all. Of all the books I collected, there was just something about a daily devotional that always caught my attention. The anticipation of discovering what awaited me day after day excited me, but there's just one issue. As much as I cherish my time with my devotional...

isn't always easy

I KNOW you know what I mean. We've all been there.

Excuses stack like bricks. Work deadlines, social events and whatever other excuse I think of in the moment, stack firmly on top of each other. Eventually the bricks reach so high that the wall they've built stands between my Savior and I.

I'll admit, I'm coming out of a slump. Lately I've made it a priority to take time to spend with Jesus each morning. WOW, let me tell you... it has truly made a difference in my day to day life. I didn't FULLY realize that spending a seemingly small and insignificant amount of time each day to connect with my Creator would impact my life in such a big way!

My steps are lighter. My focus is stronger. My head is clearer.

All because I choose to take a moment each morning to reset and connect with THE ONE who loves me more than

Do you feel stuck in a rut?

Devotional time is like exercise. The more you do it, the more you want to do it! You feel so good after you do it, it's all about the motivation to B E G I N.

Dive into His word.

Sit in silence.

Meditate on His promises.

Speak to God like you're talking to a friend.

You'll be surprised how your perspective shifts!
